􀂄 Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), has struck
a new gas well at Sundaribari in South Tripura district, about
125 km from here. - BS

􀂄 Ranbaxy Laboratories announced the transfer of its entire
holding in Ranbaxy (Guangzhou China) to HNG Chembio
Pharmacy Company (HNG). - BS

􀂄 Sonata Software has tied up with Maximum Processing to
increase the delivery capabilities of its Stingray System, a
Web-based property and casualty insurance administration

􀂄 Housing Development and Infrastructure (HDIL) has
achieved the closure of its first tranche of secured
redeemable non-convertible debentures to the tune of Rs

􀂄 Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) plans to acquire three
new container ships in the New Year, and has set aside
$200-225 million to fund these purchases. - BS

Macro Economic News

􀂄 Exports have come out of the red in November after 13 straight
months of decline, but exporters from key sectors would
like to watch for a couple of months more as they feel the
recent improvement could be due to festive buying.-ET

Monday for implementing the ambitious Rs 3,60,000 crore

Global Cues

Home prices in 20 U.S. cities rose in October for a fifth
consecutive month, putting the housing market and economy
farther along the path to recovery.The S&P/Case-Shiller
home-price index increased 0.4 percent from the prior month
on a seasonally adjusted basis, after a 0.2 percent rise in
