अगर आपसे ई-मेल पर इनकम टैक्स रिफंड या फिर क्रेडिट कार्ड की जानकारी मांगी जा रही हो तो ऐसे ई-मेल का कतई जवाब ना दें।
इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट के नाम पर लोगों को फर्जी ऐसे ई-मेल भेजे जाने का सनसनीखेज मामला सामने आया है। ihxbkw@accounts.net और cvhfus@accounts.net ई-मेल आईडी से ऐसे फर्जी मेल भेजे जा रहे हैं। और टैक्सपेयर से टैक्स रिफंड का ब्यौरा और क्रेडिट कार्ड से जुड़ी अहम जानकारी मांगी जा रही है।
लेकिन वित्त मंत्रालय ने इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट की ओर से ऐसा कोई भी ईमेल भेजे जाने से इनकार किया है। साथ ही लोगों को चेतावनी दी है कि वो ऐसे किसी भी ई-मेल का जवाब ना दे।
सरकार के मुताबिक इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट रिफंड के लिए ई-मेल नहीं भेजता है। और ना ही क्रेडिट कार्ड का ब्यौरा मांगा जाता है।
