􀂄 McNally Bharat Engineering announced that it has bagged
an order worth Rs 306.45 crore for engineering related works
at Rourkela Steel Plant. - BS

􀂄 Pratibha Industries stated that it has bagged an order worth
Rs 58.85 crore from state-run National Thermal Power
Corporation (NTPC). - BS

􀂄 HCL Technologies announced a partnership with US-based
Ubiquiti to provide automated warranty solutions to
automotive manufacturers. - BS

􀂄 JSW Steel and Japan's JFE Steel Corporation entered into a
strategic collaboration to build and operate an integrated
steel plant in West Bengal and in the area of automotive

􀂄 Mahindra Satyam is reportedly on the verge of finalising a
deal to payback an undisclosed sum to the Victorian
government following the collapse of a $75 million IT project

􀂄 The index of U.S. leading indicators rose for a seventh
consecutive month in October, signaling the economy will
keep growing into 2010. The Conference Board’s gauge of
the outlook for the next three to six months rose 0.3 percent,
less than forecast, after rising 1 percent in September.
Separate reports showed claims for jobless benefits stayed
at a 10-month low of 505,000 last week - Bloomberg.

Macro Economic News

􀂄 India's food price index was up 14.55 percent in the 12
months to Nov. 7, while the fuel index was down 1.51
percent. - ET

􀂄 Credit offtake has been slowly gathering steam since August
2009. Although demand has not been steady, loan
disbursements have seen a general upturn in the past three months.

Global Cues

The index of U.S. leading indicators rose for a seventh
